I saw this filmed experiment How to get on top of the SERPs at this blog http://www.makeusawebsite.com/articles/how-to-ranke-position-1-in-3-minutes-a-filmed-experiment/

They claim that by creating an article on a blog that regularly publishes articles that Google will index you very quickly.

The claim is they got to the top of the search pages at google in just three minutes.

I wonder how long, or if ever this article will get to the top, or at least onto page 1.

About 7 minutes to get to to the middle of page 1 on Google.co.uk  and Google.com, not quite to the top of the serps, but close…

so How to get on top of the SERPs  you think might be quite be quite competitive, but it isn’t really.   Proof the long tail is the way to go.
